CHIROPRACTOR

Sean Marcella, DC

Dr. Sean has been a licensed chiropractor since 1999 serving thousands of patients and promoting a better quality of life through natural health care. Focused on wellness, his healthcare philosophy comes from knowing the body is designed to heal itself, but often needs the help of things like chiropractic, massage therapy and nutrition to promote the body’s natural healing ability. With many tools in his chiropractic tool bag, Dr. Sean strives to find the adjustment that fits you so you get healthier faster. He combines gentle force muscle techniques with Diversified, Thompson, Logan Basic, Activator and many extremity techniques.

He has been a consultant on fluoroscopy and x-ray technique, and has spent hundreds of hours in cadaver anatomy labs working with surgical device companies. In addition, he teaches Anatomy and Physiology.

Stephen W. Kongs, DC

Dr. Kongs is a graduate of the original Palmer College. He is a father and grandfather to 5 who has been practicing Chiropractic for almost 40 years in New Mexico and Washington. Dr. Kongs specializes in several types of Chiropractic care including Palmer technique, activator, and drop table.

Brian Boyd, DC

Brian Boyd, DC was born and raised in Iowa. He graduated from Palmer College in 1996 and began practicing in Bellingham in 1997. Dr. Boyd brings 28 years of experience and 2 million adjustments to the table, blending gentle hand and/or instrument adjustments to restore spinal rhythm and balance safely and efficiently.

Dr. Boyd is an avid snow sports enthusiast, having taught skiing and snowboarding at Mr. Baker Ski Resort for 8 seasons. Summertime finds him on bikes, motorcycles, and occasionally in the water or on the golf course.

 
 

Clinical Psychologist

Sarah K. Saxvik, PhD

Dr. Sarah K. Saxvik is a licensed clinical psychologist. She has been working in the field of psychology for 25 years. Prior to completing a doctorate degree in clinical psychology, Dr. Saxvik completed a master of arts degree in existential phenomenological psychology. It is this training that she feels most aligned with in her practice. Dr. Saxvik has extensive experience treating a range of mental health disorders with a particular focus on complex trauma. In more recent years, she added Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to her treatment approach. Dr. Saxvik is a certified therapist in EMDR through the EMDR International Association.

 

MASSAGE THERAPIST

Tani Coxon, LMT

Tani has been a massage therapist since she graduated from the Brian Utting School of Massage in 2005. She continues to learn and apply many different techniques in treating pain and injuries. She is efficient in having the ability to hone in on specific areas that need attention along with providing relaxation and assisting clients with whole body health.
